About this client/child: Noah (8) lives at home with his Mum, Dad and his two younger sisters aged 6 and 2. Noah is a bright, happy, and social boy who has a love for the outdoors. He also enjoys reading books, watching movies, spending time with his friends, riding bikes, animals and playing with his Lego. Noah was diagnosed with ADHD last September and has some associated emotional regulation challenges, especially after school. He has been on medication since October 2023 and has been doing well, but still requires 1:1 attention which can be difficult with his two sisters around.

Overview of role: We are seeking a dedicated SEN Manny / Tutor to join a busy household, providing an all-round extra pair of hands to Noah and his siblings. Working alongside a Full-Time Nanny, you will help create a structured, enriching environment that nurtures the childrern’s educational growth. You will provide focused academic support, especially for Noah, assisting with homework, reading, and school projects. There will be times when you will support Noah’s siblings, or all three of the children, so experience supporting multiple children is important. You will be responsible for school pick-ups, alternating between Noah and his siblings as needed and actively contribute to after-school routines. As you can imagine, every day is slightly different and there are always plenty of play dates! During school holidays, you will be proactive in planning, engaging and stimulating educational activities inside and outside the home for the children to partake in, based around their interests and expanding upon their learning. If a candidate was only looking for 3 to 4 days a week, the family would also be open to considering this! The hourly rate offered is £23.00 to £25.00 Gross Per Hour DOE.

Who this job would suit: This role will suit a male* SEN Manny/ Tutor who brings with them a positive energy with the ability to stay calm under pressure. Someone with a great sense of humour, excellent organisational skills and someone who is used to working in busy households with multiple children and supporting a child with ADHD. You should be comfortable providing structured academic support, particularly for KS2 children.

What’s great about this job: A fantastic opportunity to become part of this loving family and help foster academic success and a nurturing environment for this wonderful family! There will be an opportunity to travel with the family and an annual bonus incentive. You will have the opportunity to be involved in Noah’s play therapy sessions.

Who is recruiting for this role? Snap Care will be carrying out all recruitment including shortlisting, recruiter interviews and arranging employer interviews.
